I joined СŷÊÓƵ of Sheffield in August 2021 after teaching Japanese language at СŷÊÓƵ of Manchester, СŷÊÓƵ of Salford and Liverpool John Moores СŷÊÓƵ.
Originally from Tokyo, I have a broad working experience in education and in the manufacturing industry, both of which inform my teaching practice.

For my MEd dissertation, I carried out research on bilingualism, focusing on Japanese-English bilingual children and their cognitive development in comparison to monolingual children in England.
