СŷÊÓƵ has been ranked 18th in the UK in the 2025 Complete СŷÊÓƵ Guide, a rise of two places from last year.
The annual rankings, which support prospective students in making informed decisions about their future, also ranked the СŷÊÓƵ second in Yorkshire and Humber.
Ranking 130 institutions across the UK, the main league table is based on ten measures: entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality, research intensity, academic services spend, spending on student facilities, continuation, student-staff ratio, graduate prospects and outcomes.
The news follows the СŷÊÓƵ of Sheffield being voted СŷÊÓƵ of the Year, Best Students' Union and Best Student Life at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs) 2024 last month. The awards, which are the largest annual university awards in the UK voted for exclusively by students, also saw the СŷÊÓƵ shortlisted in the Facilities, Student Support and International categories.
